New York Knicks v Washington Wizards – 2/26/10

Last night I photographed some parts of the Washington Wizards home game against the New York Knicks. The game went to overtime and the Wizards lost by 2 points. A tough loss for the home team but an exciting game to shoot!

Is there any better day than Valentines Day for an Engagement Portrait Session?

We set our session up a little last-minute but thankfully the weather cooperated and we got to shoot some great images!

I met up with Kristen & Casey at Chadwicks (their first date place) down in Old Town Alexandria early on Sunday morning and at first sight it was obvious to see why these guys are getting married. They are just so cutely in love that it is a pure pleasure to witness. We spent a few glorious hours walking around Old Town getting some great portraits of the two of them. We even stumbled across some paper hearts, here… there… and everywhere and we couldn’t resist taking one for our own purposes!

It seems Old Town Alexandria is quickly becoming my most traveled location for engagement portraits. The couples I work with just love it for the colours, textures and innumerable backgrounds it has to offer. And let me just say… I never get tired of it. I always manage to find something new whenever I am there.

You have to love them for braving the cold and taking their coats off for this final shot! I love it!

Headshots for Joshua | DC Actor Headshots

Joshua came in to my studio a few weeks ago to update his headshots. This was one of the best headshot sessions I have had in a while because Joshua rocked the session! Posing, clothing, lighting and everything else went amazingly. Joshua is a local DC actor and these new headshots should serve him well (I hope!).
