Is there any better day than Valentines Day for an Engagement Portrait Session?
We set our session up a little last-minute but thankfully the weather cooperated and we got to shoot some great images!
I met up with Kristen & Casey at Chadwicks (their first date place) down in Old Town Alexandria early on Sunday morning and at first sight it was obvious to see why these guys are getting married. They are just so cutely in love that it is a pure pleasure to witness. We spent a few glorious hours walking around Old Town getting some great portraits of the two of them. We even stumbled across some paper hearts, here… there… and everywhere and we couldn’t resist taking one for our own purposes!
It seems Old Town Alexandria is quickly becoming my most traveled location for engagement portraits. The couples I work with just love it for the colours, textures and innumerable backgrounds it has to offer. And let me just say… I never get tired of it. I always manage to find something new whenever I am there.
